Who can sign up
You must be a parent or legal guardian to create a family account, and you're responsible for the kid profiles you create.
Filtering is best-effort
Cove filters content using allowlists, AI screening, and parent approvals. No filter is perfect, and you remain responsible for supervising your kids' use. Review tools (dashboard, trending review, preview-as-kid) exist so you can check what your kids see.
Billing
Pricing covers our operating costs; plans and allowances may change with notice. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the paid period.
What a subscription buys: curation and safety screening, parent controls and dashboards, additional kid profiles, in-app page reading, trending review, and a larger search allowance. It does not buy access to video. Watching approved videos plays through YouTube's own embedded player and remains available on the free tier, including after a subscription ends.
Fair use
Don't abuse the service (scraping, resale, attempting to bypass filters, or using it for anyone but your own family). We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and may update these terms; continued use means acceptance.
Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties; to the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.
